MIAMI – A state inspector noted a live rodent last week in a storage area inside Miami's Donut Divas that was next to a freezer.

Divas was one of several restaurants ordered shut last week by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Roach issues were spotted at Nikudo Japanese Buffet, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale and Yglesias Cuban Cafe.

Below is a list of the places and some of their violations. All the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following ordered clean ups and re-inspections.

"Live rodent present. Observed one live rodent in storage area next to walk in freezer."

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. Observed 20 plus dry droppings in cabinets in bar area."

"Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food. Observed raw chicken over ice cream inside walk in freezer."

"Accumulation of encrusted food debris on/around mixer head."

"Accumulation of food debris/grease on food-contact surface. Churro machine with accumulation of grease."

"Wall soiled with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust. In preparation room."

"Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed raw chicken wings (54°F - Cold Holding); cheese (50°F - Cold Holding); hot dogs (49°F - Cold Holding); milk (48°F - Cold Holding), inside walk in cooler. Observed batter (73°F - Cold Holding); red velvet batter (73°F - Cold Holding), in cook line."

"Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Approximately 2 in back area, 1 in mop sink, 8 in storage closet, 3 under kitchen equipment, 1 in a non-working reach-in cooler located in the kitchen line."

"Accumulation of black/green mold-like substance in the interior of the ice machine."

"Floor drains/drain covers heavily soiled."

"Interior of reach-in cooler soiled with accumulation of food residue."

"Stop Sale issued on potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food due to temperature abuse. In walk-in cooler crab meat 74°F,Tilapia 77°F,Chicken 77°F,Cut lettuce 80°F."

"Roach excrement and/or droppings present. Walls and shelving in the kitchen."

"Dead roaches on premises. Approximately 20, on floor and light shields."

"Slicer blade guard soiled with old food debris."
