The Jersey Shore — why do we put up with it every summer? The traffic on the Parkway, the mad scramble for parking spots, the crowded beaches, lackluster boardwalk food.

Because the Shore is in our DNA, that’s why. We just can’t avoid it; it keeps pulling us back in.
