Stray's walled city hides several cans of highly potent energy drinks. Here's where to find vending machines capable of dispensing them.
Collectibles and achievements have become a common occurrence in modern video games, so much so that aside from introducing fickle bragging rights, most have no viable purpose. Stray, however, addresses these gameplay extensions in a different manner. All in-game items can be put toward unlocking certain story segments, while the information they contain remains more or less observable in real-time. Energy drinks are one such addition, but before players can make the most of them, they need to find operational vending machines scattered throughout the walled city.
While some might not feel inclined to search high and low for multiple cans of Energy Drink Speed 2K, completionists will want to pinpoint their location. After all, these non-consumable refreshments help unlock two of Stray’s trophies: "Meowlody" and "I Remember." For all intents and purposes, four cans of Speed 2K are hiding in The Slums, and players can exchange them for select wares at Azooz's shop. The merchant will request a single can for a sheet music page, whereas one of B-12's memories will cost players three cans. Since energy drinks are exclusive to The Slums, the four-legged protagonist can only collect and trade them in Chapters 4 and 6.

The first vending machine housing a can of Speed 2K is arguably the easiest to find, as it lies a short distance from the Guardian and across from where Morusque (the musician) is situated. After the ginger tabby arrives at The Slums and the cutscene wraps up, players should head down the stairs to the left of Guardian's garage. They will see two vending machines on the right-hand side of the screen, one operational and the other out of order. Interacting with the lit-up vending machine will quickly yield one can of Speed 2K.
Using Guardian's location as a starting point, players should head toward Dufer Bar for the second can of Speed 2K. Once there, they need to go around the corner and turn right at the next intersection before following the narrow path that will take them to Grandma. Continuing past Grandma's shop will reveal an alleyway with a ladder and a stack of boxes visible in the distance. As players make their way past the ladder, they will come across a robot watching TV.
To get to the vending machine located directly above the lounging citizen, the fierce feline will have to engage in some parkour. Starting from the crates that rest atop the stairs near the two tin companions, players can use the wooden canopy to reach higher ground and uncover a hidden balcony, where they can claim the second can of Speed 2K.

For the third energy drink, all players have to do is descend the balcony and walk back in the direction they came from. Instead of heading toward Grandma's shop, taking a right turn as soon as they pass the stack of boxes and the ladder will lead players to a familiar alley, from which they initially emerged at the end of Chapter 3. Going up the stairs located on the right-hand side of the screen will eventually reveal a vending machine that houses the third can of Speed 2K.
The last energy drink requires players to explore the rooftops of The Slums. Starting from the Guardian's garage, head towards Super Spirit Laundry. This will provide easy access the rooftops via clustered architecture near the shop's entrance. Keeping to the right-hand side of the screen after meeting the two loitering robots will take the protagonist to a couple of mattresses and a potential stargazer, depending on when they discover the location.
From there, players will see a nearby rooftop decorated with a couch and a TV alongside an illuminated vending machine resting against a wall a level below. Tinkering with the familiar contraption will allow them to collect the final can of Speed 2K, officially marking the end of their energy-fueled quest. If push comes to shove, players can use Momo's apartment as a starting point and ride the bucket down before following the rooftops to the right to reach this location.
